Bands go through changes quite often and as you can probably see by now, Avenger of Blood is no exception. As of now, Sal has been fired from the band 6 months ago, and Chris has relocated to Texas. So the line-up remains with Shannon and Marc to continue on in true headbanger fashion. We are writing a new album and will be releasing it in mid-late 2010. We aren't on any record label and are not looking for new members any longer. Avenger of Blood will always carry on releasing CD's, EP's, and other various recordings in the future.
What we are doing in our other time is that we both play in the newly relocated band Seventh Calling. Seventh Calling moved to Las Vegas from Minneapolis, MN about 6 months ago. If you like classic metal but done a bit more aggressive, you will definitely find it an awesome band. Afternoon my fellow AoB fans....
We are in the process of redesigning this archaic web home of AoB.
If you go come here and get some wacked out page, its is probably because it is being updated.
I tire of the same look, these boys have been kickin’ some serious ass for quite some time now so why not make the site as kick ass as they are…?
Be patient my friends… It is a work in progress and I hope to have it unveiled on Thanksgiving Weekend.

Since things are pretty much back on track now, the band has started writing new songs and they are coming along pretty well so far. There is so many ideas, so many riffs, and so on that we have all came up with! When key members of a band leave, the sound changes, but I guarantee that it is still Avenger of Blood. Its a bit angrier, a bit faster, yet more complex than our previous stuff. It is still no holds barred true fuckin' thrash!!! There are no titles yet, just beginnings of ideas we are floating around. It's really good stuff though.

After hours and hours of studying this tutorial, we are FINALLY getting the site back up to date and running.
In the last 7-8 months, a lot has happened in the band. Some good, some not so good. As you may have seen, read, or heard, Eric and Shawn both have left the death brigade known as Avenger of Blood. As sad as it is that it happened, we can only wish them the best. We had a lot of great times together and achieved a lot of goals that we could have imagined would never happen. The slot Eric vacated was taken up by Sal Lalli (ex-Postmortom) who is now doing vocals and guitar. Chris Rodriguez has taken over Shawn's spot as bassist and will be sharing vocal duties with Sal.
We have already started playing shows, and the response with the new line-up has been really positive! So now that things are getting back on track, you will be hearing a lot more from us in the very near future!
